4:44
Jay-Z took the political and personal route in his new
highly anticipated 13th studio album, 4:44. Over the course of ten
tracks, the rapper discusses the state of black America and even shares some
life advice with his fans. But this isn’t the only reason why this Tidal
exclusive is making a splash. Jay-Z responded to allegations of infidelity
exposed in his wife, Beyoncé’s last album, Lemonade. Not only does HOV admit to
having affairs, but he also took a few bars to apologize for his mistakes. Here
are some of the most memorable lines:
"I apologize, often womanize. Took for my child to be born to see through a woman’s eyes."

"You did what with who?' What good is a
ménage à trois when you have a soulmate? 'You risked that for Blue?"
Song- 4:44 |
"Yeah, I'll f--- up a good thing if you let
me. Let me alone, Becky. A man that don't take care of his family can't be
rich. I'll watch 'Godfather,' I missed that whole s---."
Song- Family Feud |
It seems as though the power couple has finally put everything on the table. No doubt about it, this is Jay’s most transparent album yet. 4:44 is sure to do numbers but with any luck, the album will bring forth some much-needed healing to Jay and Bey’s marriage. We’re rooting for you King and Queen B!
