Tyra Banks Removes Age Limit From ANTM
You Wanna Be On Top? Well, if you thought you were too old
to smize before, you’re lucky! Tyra Banks, the original co-creator and executive
producer of America’s Next Top Model is returning as a judge and with some new
rules. There will no longer be an age restriction for those who aspire to try
out for the next season. Tyra said on a Twitter video this Saturday, “There have
been 23 cycles of ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ and every single cycle we say you
have to be 27 years old or younger.” After much deliberation, Banks decided
that there is no longer an age limit.
In the past the show has had many rule alterations including
a season with college-aged girls only and a co-ed season, but this one can
change the entire dynamic of the show. The new tagline for the show is— “Young
enough to vote? Old enough to smize!” We can’t wait to see the type of women
who will be on the next season.
