Trouble for Tom Brady Following Super Bowl Sunday
Last night marked the
biggest comeback in Super Bowl history as the Patriots erased a 25-point
deficit, beating the Atlanta
Falcons 34-28 in overtime. It was
also a record fifth Super Bowl win for Brady.
Although
it may seem that the quarterback has all the victory and success in the world,
it appears that he’s been dealing with personal issues. Mr. Patriot had his
jersey stolen shortly after wining big Sunday night and is dealing with his
mother’s illness.
The super star quarterback had the Texas Rangers join the search
for his beloved jersey from last night's historic Super Bowl game. With all
this commotion you would've thought Blue Ivy was missing. Brady told reporters
he last saw his game-used threads in the New England dressing room Sunday night in Houston.
In
addition, Brady’s mother Galynn has been fighting an undisclosed type of cancer
for the past 18 months. She has been her son’s greatest fan since his high
school and college days, when he was just Tom Brady, not TOM BRADY.
“It’s personal with my family,” he told reporters. “I’m just
hoping everyone is here on Sunday to
share a great experience. It has been a tough year. Every family goes through
different things. My family has always been a great support system for me.”
Family
means a lot to Brady and with his mother's support probably made the win all the more special. With the media, Twitter Trolls, and press on his back the superstar quarterback
remains humble and in good spirits
