Idris Elba Stuns on the Cover of Maxim

British actor Idris Elba looks gallant on the cover of the September issue of Maxim. At 42, he’s the first male to ever appear on the magazine’s cover.

Elba has been known for his work in the music industry as well as for his on-screen roles, the most recent being Heimdall in Avengers: Age of Ultron. He’s also set to appear as a villain in the Star Trek reboot.

Elba was a fan-favorite to be cast as the new James Bond, but the role ultimately went to Damian Lewis (Lewis will allegedly replace Daniel Craig after Spectre).
