Fresh Prince Duece

A Fresh Prince reboot is possibly in the making, Will Smith’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, is reportedly in the early stages of creating a new spin on the hit TV series.  Sources say that the new show will include a new cast and a creative storyline. The original sitcom started back in 1990, and lasted for six successful seasons. Fans fell in love with the endless laughter that Will and his cast members brought to the show. According to The Guardian, Will Smith will serve as the executive producer along with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. While the original cast will be missed, there is no doubt that Will Smith will find a new bunch to make us laugh until our stomachs hurt.

NBC Entertainment has stated that they are not involved with Smith’s new project, but are happy to talk with him about it. This isn’t the only project that Smith has up his sleeve. Back in October, it was announced that he is working close with Fox, creating a spinoff to the romantic comedy, Hitch. In the meantime, let’s keep our fingers crossed. We hope to see Will Smith’s hilarious creativity back on our television screens soon!
