First Ever Transgender Modeling Agency is Here

 

The world’s first ever transgender modeling agency is opening in Los Angeles. Apple Model Management is working hard to grow the transgender equality movement by giving these models a chance to live their passion. With Caitlyn Jenner and actress Laverne Cox in the media spotlight for their advocacy, this is agency is another huge step towards change.

Apple Model Management agency already has six models lined up, and scouts who are on the hunt for more trans models. Cecilio Asuncion, Apple’s director, made it clear that this agency is not about the question of whether the models are men or women. It is about their commitment to modeling and being the best they can be. This is another big move in the fashion world, especially after Caitlyn Jenner slayed the Vanity Fair cover, and model Andreja Pejic became the first transgender model to land a major cosmetic campaign, Make Up For Ever’s “Be Bold” ad series.

The agency is set to officially launch next month. Asuncion only wants the best for the transgender community, and plans on working hard to groom his talent from working models to supermodels. He also hinted that the models are up for consideration to make appearances during NY Fashion Week in September. So be on the look out for major changes in the fashion world, because history is in the making!
