James Horner Dies at 61

With deep grief and Sadness it has been confirmed that the composer of the Titanic, Braveheart and Star Trek scores has tragically died in a plane crash.

The Oscar and Academy award winner worked on three films with James Cameron. Horner is well known for his heart wrenching scores, died on Monday in a private plane near Santa Barbara.

“He was the heart of the film, Cameron told EW on Tuesday

Sylvia Patrycja identified as his assistant has confirmed his death. He leaves behind his wife Sara and two daughters Emily and Becky.
